Avis Budget Rent a Car

I hired a car on 11th - 12th November 2020 - I have still not received my holding deposit. This is a large amount and as a pensioner I am not able to tolerate this . Budget keeps blaming the bank and the bank blames Avis. It is a vicious circle and I am getting nowhere after many calls and emails to Avis and the Bank. I am at my wits end.
