Urgent refund

I had bought a car in Nov24. I had called around for insurance and eventually went with budget. I did not fault on any payments since then(9months). On the 3August we had an accident. I had called last week and was advised I need to pay this ridiculously high amount for excess. The agent had not seen the Pic of my vehicle or who's fault was it. My husband got quotes from a panel beater who quoted us way less then the excess I'm suppose to pay for. I called to cancel last week. However is told I can not get a refund. 1.what service was rendered to me that I can not get my money back. 2.I pay a month in advance. I paid on the 25 July for August. What service did I get since I canceled on the 8august. 3.why did I pay you if I'm still sitting with a car that is not fixed

I want to be refunded since I basically paid for 9months for nothing. I got no service and not assistance form you. You don't even deserve a one star.
