Upset customer

I am a bit dissapointed now. Last week I had a claim. Was assited so efficiently and gave my assessor, Shane, 5 Stars and an awesome review. Today I got an sms from Netstar to inform me that my contract has been cancelled since my vehicle was written off!! I nearly collapsed from shock. Shane gave me two options: Option 1. My car is written off and I receive x amount. Have to deliver vehicles papers etc. Option 2. Car is still mine and they pay me a certain amount to fix my car myself. He asked me if I would like to keep my vehicle insured with budget. I was surprised and so happy that they will still insure my car. I asked him if I can. He said yes. So I was not surprised when my premium was deducted on Monday. I even checked online and my insurance was in tact. So, I was seriously almost in tears with this sms. I phoned Netstar and they said they would come back to me. Then I decided to phone Budget. A very friendly Goodness assisted me. The end is that she informed me that my car is NOT INSURED ANYMORE. It was written off..... and I bought it back. Never ever was this mentioned during my communication with Shane!! I am so upset. Even this morning when I checked my policy online, all was in tact. So now they cancelled it and will refund my premium. Apparently when my car is fixed up, then can I insure it again. It is not that my car cannot drive. The only reason for all this is that the quotes that they were given for my car was very high.
