unsatisfied claim outcomes

i have a policy with budget insurance, covering household content. i made a claim for my tv which was taken for assessment, i got the report that Budget will not repair or replace my TV because the damage is "wear and tear" which means it is the damage of something that is used regularly. in this case tv's are used every day, and i covered it for such reasons. i am not happy and disappointed that why do i have to pay monthly premiums or something that will not be covered? i was not made aware of the wear and tear cover Hello Peter pls help
