My entire professional camera equipment was ****** in a house burglary on 19 Oct amongst other items. It has been a tiresome back and forth affair with this company trying to get a fair settlement. My main items were specified for a total amount of R37 520 & other unspecified items taken for the amount of R9155. This is NOT remotely what they want to offer me. They offered me a cheap camera deal kit (including a 3yr old camera model) worth R7932 to replace my kit worth close to R50 000! This kit also only included 3 or 4 items of which MUCH more was ******. I have been with Budget Insurance for many years now & this is only my 2nd claim. My 1st they *****ed me over when only paying out HALF my car's resell value. I was guaranteed by their call centre agent when routinely updating my policy that I would be paid out the exact amounts the items were specified for (regardless of increase/decrease in replacement value). This phonecall amongst many others have \disappeared"off of my account"
