<p>I was involved in an accident whereby one of budgets clients drove into the back of me (Totally his Fault). Unfortunately I did not have insurance at the time. Budget decided they are not going to repair my vehicle and decided to write it off. </p> <p>It look them almost 4 weeks to get to this point. Then the shock came. They then told me that the velue of my vehicle is only R54K, however they are only prepared to give me R35K toward the repairs. I paid 70K for it. </p> <p>I've only got two options and that is it according to them. I can either take the 35K and fix it (Cheapest Quote I got was R54k) or they will pay me the R54K and take it off my hands. </p> <p>I asked them how did they come up with these figures. They then came with a long story how they come up with these figures. I asked them is there nothing else they can do to assist me. The answer I got is no, you do not have a choice in the matter. I then asked them please can the buy me a similar car in similar condition for what they are prepared to pay me out for. You obviously know the answer I got from them.</p> <p>This is such a *******. Isn't so typical of Insurance companies, they just know how to minipulate the system. </p>
