TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM BUDGET INSURANCE

I had a minor car accident on 1 April 2026. It required a bumper and fender to be replaced. The car was delivered to the approved provider on 11 May, exactly 4 weeks ago. I have only experienced exceptionally poor service. The car is still not ready. The fender was incorrect on initial delivery, the new bumper was found to be defective on fitment. Consequently, it's made out that parts is the real issue country-wide and is beyond provider and insurer's control. This, despite the provider having acknowledged to the client, that they dropped the ball from the start. Budget Insurance absolves themselves from taking responsibility for their service provider's poor service rendered. 4 weeks is an extraordinary long time to be without a car. Yesterday the provider further informed the client that stock may only become available next week Monday which means it could take up to 5 weeks to finish the job. In this day and age? While competing insurers are able to repair and the turnaround for similar jobs is a week at most? One would expect a large insurance company to have high standards which their providers must adhere to. One also expects a "reputable" large insurance company to care about the wellbeing of the client. I've also experienced that Budget Insurance doesn't listen to the client but sides with their service provider. I am extremely unhappy.
