Takes money from me despite concelling the insurance!

VERY unhappy! My husband got a car via take over installment at a dealership. The insurance was done on our side, BUT the insurance company has now assigned it to the official owner of the car! I have phoned 2 months ago, and sent mails to cancel this insurance, but have now already lost R1500! The car is written off due to owner negligence, and I cannot cancel it cos it's not on my name!?? I AM THE PERSON WHO SIGNED FOR THE INSURANCE!!! PLEASE can I get help, as the owner says it is cancelled on her side, BUT YET YOU KEEP TRYING TO TAKE DEBIT ORDER!!!??? I need my R1500 refunded! Or I will move my other car to another insurer! Get your money then from the owner of the car - who is then the person on your insurance! NOT ME! I am unable to block the debit order as budget has stopped the banks from doing so! *******!
