Shocking car repair method by Budget Insurance

Budget insurance decided to fix an accident damaged car by cut and joint method, without even informing the car owner of such decision. Why would an insurance company compromise the safety of their customer(s) by cutting corners in order to save costs.? @Budget Insurance is this kind of repairs a normal practice by you and your auto-body works partners? I’m so shocked by this decision by Budget Insurance.
