Service not effective

Claim No: ***/1This is the worst experience of my life and im even thinking of cancelling the insurance, i had an accident on wednesday evening a car bumped into me whilst i was at the robots as it was my turn to pass, then owner of that vehicle pleaded with me not to involve the metro police and her insurance pleading that it will cost too much for her as she claimed a year ago then she'll fix my car on her own, i declined her plea and phoned the metro police who came by and took the statements from both sides an providing the accident report, i also called in the budget insurance and i spoke to Thoko who was very helpful and initiated my car to be towed, the next day i made means on my own to enquire then i spoke Deloshen, Zandile who were also helpful, my promlem here is with the assessor by the name of Jammie Chetty i have called several times trying to interact with her about my vehicle but no feedback i have received from Jammie, she was supposed to be intouch with me last Saturday regarding my vehicle but nothing up until this far, i had full tank of fuel in the car now im using taxis and its consuming as i dont know when my car will be fixed or not, to make matters worse im not even sure if she has contacted the person who bumped into me to claim from her insurance as it was not my fault even the metro police can attest to this, the service and communication is so slow whilst the premuim is being deducted, why do i have to struggle as if i do not have an insurance? I have paid my premiums wholeheartedly without any hassle but when it is time for the service to be delivered then it is a problem. Im so dissapointed and frustrated!

Good day Keneiwe,

Thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention.

Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologize for the frustration, inconvenience, and lack of communication you have experienced during the handling of your claim. We understand how stressful this situation has been, particularly given that the accident was not your fault and that you have been left without clarity regarding the progress of your vehicle repairs and claim.

We appreciate the detailed feedback you have provided and are pleased to hear that the assistance received from Thoko, Deloshen, and Zandile met your expectations. However, we acknowledge your concerns regarding the lack of feedback from the assigned assessor and understand the disappointment this has caused.

Please be advised that we have escalated this matter to the relevant management and claims team for urgent attention. A request has been made for your claim to be reviewed as a priority, including an update on the assessment process, the recovery process from the third party, and the status of your vehicle repairs.

We value your loyalty and the trust you have placed in us through the consistent payment of your premiums. Your experience is not reflective of the level of service we aim to provide, and we are committed to resolving your concerns as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. A representative from the relevant team will be in contact with you regarding the progress of your claim.

Kind regards,
The Budget team
