Roadside assistance... More like no roadside assistance

Today my car over heated, so because I pay my premium every month I chose to call Budget Insurance for Roadside assistance.

Only to be told your car can be towed to the nearest car dealer to where you are (i was 30kms outside of swellendam and im from parow) and then on Monday it would get looked at, but I would need to arrange for someone to collect me at the garage (in swellendam) and I would need to make my own way to the garage again the monday to collect.

All additional costs is for my own account...

So what do I pay Budget Insurance R600 for every month if I then still need to cough up another R600 to get myself home and back?

When I checked my welcome pack NONE OF THIS IS MENTIONED IN IT!!!!

This is by far THEE WORST first car insurance experience EVER!

I will definitely be looking at other insurance options as this is truly an inconvenience. Its perfect for them to debit your money on time every month but when you need them they not there.
