Repeated unauthorized debit
My agreement with your organisation is that my account should be debited on the 20th of each month. However, this agreement is not being honoured. Instead, debits are being processed at times that appear to suit your internal processes rather than the agreed mandate. I must stress that I manage my finances according to a strict budget. The mere presence of funds in my account does not grant permission for early or unapproved debits. This has now become a recurring issue. More importantly, the funds in my account are specifically allocated for my disabled son’s medication. On multiple occasions, these premature debits have taken place before I am able to secure his medication, placing me under unnecessary financial and emotional strain. This situation is unacceptable. I request that:
My debit agreement is strictly adhered to (20th of each month only), and Confirmation is provided that no further early debits will be processed going forward
Should this issue persist, I will have no option but to cancel my policy and proceed with an alternative insurance provider, as I cannot continue dealing with this level of disregard for agreed terms.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and distress caused by the incorrect debit dates on your account.
We fully understand the importance of adhering to the agreed debit order date, especially given your financial planning and the critical needs of your son’s medication. Please be assured that your concern is being treated with the utmost urgency and seriousness.
Our team will be contacting you shortly to assist further and to investigate what may be causing the early debits on your account. We are committed to resolving this issue and ensuring that your debit agreement is honoured strictly going forward.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your patience while we work towards a solution.
Kind regards,
