Rejection of a claim/Arrogant Management

I had a burglary and theft 3 weeks ago and reported the matter to Budget, the assessor then mailed to make an appointment to come to my house to do the assessment,I then responded immediately asking him to come same day as my door was badly damaged and needed to be replaced..To my surprise his response was the door can be replaced without him collecting evidence(Chris Olivier)I then suspected something was wrong here, but I gave him benefit of the doubt

He came took photos of the stands and wall brackets where the tv's were and other photos..again to my surprise saw him taking pics of my whole kitchen, the fridge, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine,is then asked again why is he taking photos that has nothing to do with brake in and I was told he is taking it for my profile...I said oh OK

Then Mr Olivier left without walking around my house checking if the security around the house was sufficient enough..he then instructed me to get him a written statement from the police station even when I supp**** him with the case number, for 2 days using my resources going to police station trying to get written statement..finally got it and mailed it to him..

Rejection letter came,to my surprise it clearly states that it was rejected because of the opening windows that doesn't have burglars,I laughed because all my opening windows have trellidors, the only windows that doesn't have burglars are 2 small windows that are not opening windows. So Sad that your assessor assumed that my windows are opening windows without even atleast testing them by opening them or taking photos of them. Then few days after that I got a call from Mr Olivier, now the statement has changed its no more about a windows but now he has jumped to the door that doesn't have burglars..I was confused why is he changing the subject now....if my mind serves me correct from the onset his assessment should have been about the door as it was point of entry, but he ignored that and wanted the easy way out of windows that didn't have burglars, and windows story backfired because all my opening windows have burglars,he went back to the door saying I said they have security gates,i said Mr Olivier security gate to me it's a normal big gate that we use for the entry of the cars...Again on second try from insurance of the door that does not have burglars ..My schedule says nothing about the door, not even a single line that says my doors should have burglars..

Your dispute lady came back and said the rejection will stand because I said I have burglars on the door..I then said to her she must open a rejection letter because it says nothing about the door, her response was that she can't open it because it says Error,I then laughed..asked her to check my schedule if it corresponds with the rejection letter again it didn't open from her side it said Error..she then told me they will refund me R1700 as they were overcharging me,as my policy was supposed to be for Fire and floods only and not household because it was high risk..I laughed so hard..

If a policy is rejected is rejected, why am I being compensated with R1700? You guys have demonstrated your weakness...in short you saying you rather pay my premiums back rather than paying the claim...WHAT A JOKE...

I have never seen an insurance company issuing two rejections separately lol...

One written letter and one telephonically....

Both rejections are dizzy as I don't have opening windows as per your rejection letter, and don't have a schedule that says my doors should have burglars as per your telephonically rejection...You guys will pay me triple what I have claimed at the End....

NB. This part is the bad service I received from your Managers. I responded and wrote and email to his manager and said my policy was rejected of false report by your assessor, the email went to Jonelda who cc'd Mr Hendrik Nortje and asked him to respond..nothing came from Mr Nortje, second mail,I then send the second mail, which Mrs Jonelda cc'd me and said on the mail Mr Nortje PLEASE address this matter, which again Mr Nortje ignored.

Wrote 3rd email which was now ignored by both managers, wrote 4th email where I said I will come personally to your offices and write to your CEO,miraculously Mr Nortje rep**** to my fourth email and promised to investigate, till today I haven't received even a simple call...

I confirm that you discussed the final outcome to yourself, I asked you to open my schedule and the decline letter to see if they match, and you failed dismally to do that, and told me it says an error. So don't claim to have discussed the matter with me when you have failed a simple task of opening my schedule and decline letter...
