Refusing to pay out a Claim
I am utterly disappointed with the service that I have received from Budget insurance. My garage had been broken into on 18 August 2015, whereby an estimated amount of R28 000.00's worth of goods were ****** from my garage. I reported the matter to the police (case number: 400/8/2015) as well as ADT the minute that I had discovered what had happened. I was utterly disappointed after the immense amount of interrogation that I went through and now it has resulted in Budget Insurance refusing to pay me out for my goods that were ******. The gentleman by the name of Paul who interrogated my family and I had informed me that he believes that my garage lock was still on at the time when the break in occurred, however this was not the case. He was also insinuating that I am claiming for goods that were ****** at my work shop last year, which is not the case at all. As a business woman I had stored some of my power and basic tools at home in case we ever had to do any repairs at home. Furthermore I had to ensure that the rest of our goods were secured after the break in occurred and therefore we had put on another lock, which Paul also states was on during the break in.
