purposely extending my contract when I told them I want to terminate from 30 April 2023

On the 26th of April I called to cancel my insurance because I have found another one. I told the lady(Alicia) who was assisting me that for the following month which is May I will be sorted with insurance and I would like to get the debited money back. I have been trying to do follow ups , they told me about the record review and that they will get back to me but they never do unless I call them only to be told that they will call me. I was told that this mater will be resolved withing 7 working days but we have went beyond that.

technically if they don't refund me I'd have paid two car insurance in one month.

I was with king price but they never actually gave me this problem on canceling my insurance with them. in fact i got refunded from the day they stopped covering me but with budget insurance . it is just something I wasn't expecting from them and for the mere fact that its a big insurance company.
