Penalised for loyalty

I have had vehicle insurance with Budget Insurance for my 2004 Citi Golf since 2013. I started with a premium of R807.00. Throughout the 3 year period I never made a claim against my policy. Imagine my shock when Budget Insurance increased my excess from R2750.00 to R9000.00 and increased my premium to R890.00. Most insurance companies reward such loyalty with no claims bonuses but it seems Budget Insurance bleeds it's loyal customers. As my vehicles value has depreciated over the three years, this means that should I have an accident they may pay me nothing. Thus after collecting approximately R30 000.00 from me in premiums. I would like to warn everyone who has insurance with Budget Insurance that they need to be careful as their business practices border on ruthless and ********* practices. If there is one business one must trust, it is their insurance company as they are there to support you when you need them most.
