Paying 20% of a Claim that was not our fault!

My Son had a small "Fender-Bender" With our car on the 24th June. It was NOT his fault and he has a wittness to that effect. The person in the wrong is a customer of Budget insurance, so we therefore claim from his Insurance.

We phone and get told to take the car in for an inspection, which we do. 10 days later we phone again to ask what is happening....... We get told that and email has been sent and we have not sent documents, we did not get an email, but ask it to be re-sent. We get all the documents together over the weekend of the 8th and 9th July, we email them on the 10th. We phone again to find out what is happening, did we not get the email????? No we did not, we are waiting for car registration documents, we find them and send them on the 17th July. We phone, did you get them? yes we did we will phone lunchtime on the 18th and let you know what is happening. We phone again, no we will let you know by 5pm. We phone again lunchtime today - Did you not get an email????????? NO WE DID NOT! We are only prepared to pay 80%. Well that is not right is was NOT my sons fault we have a witness, But because my husband is with Budget they will make a consession and pay the full amount - That is not right or fair! Well the consultant said he has approved it and the panel beater will get hold of us. I wonder when that will happen? After many more calls to JHB call centre I think.

We need the car and we need to plan our lives around the fixing of it, It has been close to a month now and nothing has been done, we speak to a different consultant every time, there is no continuation with the process. I have suggested to my husband that he finds another insurance as we certainly don't need this kind of service if we have an accident with his car.
