Pathetic service from Budget Insurance

On 27 June 2020, as I was exiting our Sectional Title building, another vehicle's driver pressed the gate remote which closed on my vehicle. It even turned out that the person in question was even a visitor who was supposed to report at the reception and screened as per building rules like other visitors but somehow had our property (gate remote) in her possession and admitted to have pressed it, which then resulted in the gate closing in on us and damaging my vehicle. All evidence including footage and statements taken by Budget Insurance pointed to the other party being at fault. I critically fell ill afterwards and I remember vividly well when C.B. (initials) one of Budget Insurance legal dept promised my daughter that "she should not worry about a thing, she should focus on my health because they (Budget Legal) will make sure they recover my excess of R6625.00 sooner". That was the last time we heard from them regarding excess. After exposing them on their FB page V. D V responded through email and contradicted everything C.B. had said, in a nutshell telling me chances of recovering my excess are none, her words "the chances of recovery are less than one percent,...." therefore recovery of excess is never a guarantee...this process may take up to 3 years to reach a dead end". To my shock, at 17h38, I have received an email from them, Budget Insurance telling me in so many words that they are giving up and even advising that I fight on my own to re over my excess through Small Claims Court.The nerve...mxm.I wonder what the R1580 premium which I paid for over 2 and half years was for which was recently reduced to R1304.85 if Budget Legal never make even enough efforts to represent us well especially when we are not at fault and they got more than enough proof. To me it seems like they are on the other party's side instead of representing me. Budget you are useless and I will cut all ties with you, I will never ever recommend you to anyone!!!
