Not So BUDGET Friendly

Yesterday I contacted Budget to cancel my insurance policy as I had found something cheaper. To my surprise I was informed that my policy has been cancelled for 3 months yet I have been debited for those 3 months by Budget. I am so confused because how could they cancel my insurance cover yet forget to cancel the debit order to my account. I called yesterday and they gave me the run around to speak to my bank and so forth and to send my bank statements which makes me wonder if Budget systems do not have payment histories for their consultants.
