No refund

I canceled my car and home contents insurance last month and was covered with Budget until the 19th of May - starting with my new insurance on the 20th of May. Budget insurance deducted the usual premium this month then I called to report it to them and asked for a refund. 8 days later I haven't received my refund of R1650, even though they confirmed cancelation of my policy. I moved insurances because the insurance was expensive for me, now you can just imagine how much of an inconvenience this is because 2 insurances took money from my salary.
