no notification of premium increase

I have been with budget for some time and had a claim with them last year. All of a sudden I see them deducting more than what my premium was. In December I thought they are debiting for January as well but now in January I saw the same premium of R2300 going off. I never received any communication regarding this and I looked for another insurance company immediately. With the same profile of claims I managed to get a better offer. Upon cancelling I was given a very cold attitude from the consultant who could not even explain in detail why was my premium higher... what a disappointing service to clients...
