No delivery, no honour to undertakings!

I have been short paid on my claim following Hurricane Siphiso and promised call backs to inquiries, which never happen. Still waiting for some sort of FAIR reprieve! Why bother to ensure your home for 2.7 million when in actuality, after disaster strikes, you are practically FORCED into accepting a pittance of a budget for repairs which will NEVER be sufficient to carry out the scope of work required! While my home has stood unattended to since the storm, exposing it to further damages, I was told that the menial payment offered to me was ALL that Budget Insurance was prepared to settle... NOTHING more, thereby placing me under duress to accept same, despite the list of replacement/repairs (according to assessment) being so lengthy! Not wanting to allow further deterioration, I took what I could get, ALBEIT stating that I was not prepared to forfeit the remainder of claims pertaining to my disputes pending resolution... in other words I am not closing/forfeiting anything under dispute & only accepting towards part payment. After part payment was made, an assessor came out just a few days ago, to do a THIRD assessment (apparently the MOST senior assessor) & he acknowledged many losses while only then advising me that my roof tiles are discontinued & that he doubts that I may be able to source those for repairs to both my house & granny flat since same is almost impossible. Builders have confirmed same & so have calls to hardware stores. HOW am I expected to perform such a miracle pertaining to what needs to be done?? Is Budget expecting me to live with sections of both my roofs missing, or HOW do they expect replacement/repairs done on a menial budget (living up to their name?). They should not be allowed to place ill informed house wifes under duress to accept that which is to their demise WITHOUT furnishing them with ALL the relevant information FIRST! WHY was I not informed about my roof tiles by the first two assessors, one being a building specialist!? I am NOT a builder, nor do I have ANY knowledge of the industry (incapable of making an informed decision) which is why I had told them that Id prefer THEM to elect professionals to do the remedial work as apposed to paying me out, expecting me to make magic! Clearly, this was up their alley, so as to get away with assuming proper responsibility. Even for someone who is not in the building industry, yet judging by what I had paid for certain things, my gut feeling/initiative was that the allocation was insufficient and I told them that I was not happy and still wanting disputes concerning the rest to be investigated. Id call it poetic justice for them, should further damages to the structure occur (to an excessive degree) in the interim, while I am fretting about tiles that can not be replaced & a budget (excuse the pun) too low to accommodate repairs. Whose problem would those damages then be?? Not geared up to be caught up in a legal battle for what is DUE to me, but certainly won't allow ******** housewives like myself be taken advantage of and exploited, so I will do so for other unsuspecting victims who are done in without being properly informed of crucial information. The Consumer Act calls for total disclosure, but clearly I was forced to accept less than NEEDED (told NOTHING more) to restore my home, WITHOUT full disclosure, albeit informing them that I was NOT equipped to handle the remedial work independently. This is an injustice and a crying shame and I will be damned before I do down without a fight. I have asked for ALL reports for my attorneys to review, as well as transcripts from call recordings, but still have not been furnished with those! I feel so done in by an organization which should have my back in protecting what is mine! They ought to provide peace of mind in such a scenario, not induce such distress & concerns over the protection/integrity of my home.
