Most time consuming car repair in my life

Claim submission went smoothly, I could not ask for a better experience, unfortunately after my claim was approved thing just moved from best experience to a nightmare.

1. After I took my car for assessment I never received any feedback from Budget insurance 2. When I called to find out what is happening with my insurance, I was told that I need to take my car in on the 6th, I heard to cancel couple of meetings in order for me to take my car in on a date that I was never informed... 3. After taking my car in on the 6th I was also given a courtesy car from Europcar. When I took the car I was told I need to return it by the 6th of December and I was well aware of the fact that I need to return it as soon as my car was back. The following week I started getting SMSs informing me I need to return the car buy the 15th. At this point I have not heard anything form the penal beater so I call Budget to find out... 4. Budget tells me my car will be ready on the 15th, the 15th came and still no phone call, sms or email from the panel beater, eventually I call the panel beater and they told me my car is not ready maybe it will be ready the following week BUT they will call me 5. On the 22nd in the morning I call the panel beater to find out what is happening and when my car is going to be ready... I was told to leave my car's registration number and my contact number because the lady that deals with budget insurance is in a meeting and she will call me back... at 16:45 the lady calls me and tell me my car is ready and asked me if I am coming to collect it... I asked her "at what time do you close'? she said at 17:00... peak traffic time... 15 minute notice is as good as no notice at all. I told her it will not be possible for me to collect the car before 17:00, I will collect the cat the following day 6. Woke up returned the hired car at 8:00 and then went to collect my repaired car, to my surprise the back bumper of the car was loose, there was a gap big enough for my two fingers to fit... I had to wait for that to be fixed... after all what is time to me, after i have wasted so much of it following up on things I should have just been told....

7. I finally have my car and I am now think the nightmare is over, BUT that was not the end, I then get a bill from the care hire company, and to my shock I was charged for 1 day rental. When I contacted budget this morning a lady told me, the car was booked till the 22nd and I should have called budget to tell them to extend. That is when I realised that it is either I am stupid or everyone is just treating me like an idiot. How was I suppose to know that my car was booked till the 22nd if no one told me... why should I be wasting time and money making phone calls?

Thank you so much for addressing my complaint. I could not ask for a better outcome. The lady (forgot her name) who handled my complaint just informed me that I will get my money from the car rental company :)
