Misleading "Price Beat" Guarantee — Zero Response After Failing to Beat Premium

After I got a quote over the phone from a consultant (Mpho), Budget Insurance couldn't beat my current car insurance premium. Following up on their price-beat guarantee, I sent an email on August 28, 2026, providing my full details, expecting them to honor their commitment or provide feedback on the claim process.

Over a month has passed, and I have received no response or acknowledgment whatsoever.

It is completely unacceptable to advertise a claim—promising up to R2,000 if a premium cannot be beaten—only to ignore customers when they try to follow up. This feels like empty marketing and misleading advertising. If Budget Insurance advertises a guarantee, they should have the operational decency to respond to customer inquiries and honor their terms.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and service.
