Misinformed by *********** call centre agent
On the 16th March driving home i hit a brick on the road. Without noticing that a front right tyre was damage, i drove for 18km then i heard funny noise. I was 2km away from my place and it was raining heavily. I stopped on the side and called Budget for road assist. Call centre agent advice that the car will be towed to assessors. She send a tow truck in 15min. She fail to advise me that I need to lodge a claim and terms thereafter. On the 17 & 18 March i waited for a call from budget about the progress of fixing my car. On the 18th i then called and nothing has happened and no one knows about my car. I spoke to Lusanda who advice that i must lodge a claim. i was shocked why was i not advised on the 16th. I got frustrated because i had lost 3 days already. I called Renew IT to check if my car was there. I called budget again I was told about R4000 access. I questioned that why R4000 whereas the tyre cost less. I told budget to instruct accessors to bring my car as it was and im not responsible to towing and storage cost. I had spare wheel which was suppose to replace the damage tyre and drive home not incurring R4000 costs. Im frustrated & still dont have my car.
