Increase *******

So just got my review note for a price increase on my car and household insurance. Only claim I have had was for a windscreen. Yet they have increased my premium by 24.9%. According to them this is due to increased costs! But when I ask them for proof of these increased costs being 20% higher than inflation they are unable to provide that info. In other words they are lying. They then say they will transfer me to someone more senior that can help me, but surprise surprise the call is dropped whilst waiting for me to be transferred to the higher power. Guys, just be honest and say we increased because we can! Goodbye Budget Insurance!
