******s tried to ***** my car but instead rendered it useless. They broke out the ignition and locks - and what seemed to me - stole my car's computer. I made a statement at the police and went to Budget insurance with a claim. They towed my car to a location where the assessor could see what the damage is. I got the quote back and saw that the computer was not on the quote ( the lack of information, eg what is going to be replaced also unacceptable - only line items shown). I phoned Mr Tsipa - whereupon he admitted to me that he did not inspect inside the bonnet for any damages!!!! This is supposedly someone who must assess the damage? IS THIS THE QUALITY ASSESSORS THAT BUDGET USE?! I almost accepted the quote as is - still awaiting revised quote ( it is promised for tomorrow). I just wonder if there is anything else that this guy is going to miss????.... I have to decide whether or not to go with a private mechanic or pay the excess and fix it through Budget but I am afraid that I will not be able to make an informed decision due to the lack of competency of Budget's Assessors. I am afraid that if I decide to do it privately that there is more damage that he overlooked...
