I requested a n online quote. Sidney called and after all the questions which included my claim history provided me with an acceptable quote. I told him i would 1st need to think it through and cancel with my current insurer but he insisted and i eventually accepted. He assured me i would get my copy of the contract the same evening, I only got it the next day. The following week i received a call from Sidney, he said he needed to verify a few details, he asked for the spelling of the address, this was already confirmed and as per my contract was correct. He then asked about my previous claim details (repeated a few times in the initial call) He stated the installment would be double what i was originally quoted. I told him that this is unacceptable and if he cannot give me the original amount i would prefer to cancel. During the entire call i could hear the voice of another person telling him what to say and being shocked that i would not accept an increase in premium. He said he'd transfer me to retentions to negotiate my cover, call was cut. he then called and said the policy was stopped. I have already cancelled my previous insurance and would like what was agreed on
