I was in an accident with my vehicle on the 3rd of February 2018, I followed all of the procedures set out by budget insurance, the claim was only finalized on the 28th of February. The car was immediately towed to the panelbeaters after the accident on the 3rd of February 2018 where they were the panelbeaters that will repair the car as well. Till to date I have not received my car as the supplier in germany is out of stock on some parts and the panelbeaters indicated that the supplier may have stock only in May 2018...this is unacceptable, I should just pay premiums on a car that the insurer does not have risk? I understand its no ones fault that the supplier is out of stock but this should have been taken into account during assessment of the damage to the vehicle. I spoke to budget today the 9th of April 2018 and they were not aware of anything until I contacted them, during the conversation I heard the lady reading "Repairs will be done within two weeks" I overheard her reading this and this was not communicated directly to me. Budget Insurance please get back to me a.s.a.p about how we are going to rectify this issue as I can not wait another 2 months for my vehicle to be repaired.
