Immature Third Party Claim Investigation

<p>I'am very disappointed in the way my uninsured third party claim was handled. I was informed that Budget Insurance was unable to entertain my claim where damage to my vehicle was caused by their clients reckless driving whilst under the influence. How can a person driving recklessly in a parking lot area be excused from this? A thorough investigation was not even done and it took less than 2 days for the Insurance to point fingers at me and say i was the one that caused damage to their clients vehicle and that the file is closed. Upon questioning their final decision, in less than an hour i was then informed that the clients claim remains unfinalized. If Budget Insurance were sure of their findings, the file would have remained closed. The consultant stated in a telephonic conversation that it was immature of him to send me the letter rejecting my claim. Why have third party claims if the investigations don't take place? Does this Insurance promote reckless driving and drinking and driving? If that is not the case, why believe their client without conducting a solid investigation? I understand im a third party and im not important to this Insurance and this Insurance does not care about my suffering and extra incurred expenses caused by their clients reckless driving. Who speeds in a parking lot and with no lights on? I was not even asked to provide witnesses for my claim at first. This was only done when the file was re-opened. I dont even know what to say anymore.</p>
