I had a small fender bender that was completely not my fault

I had a small fender bender that was completely not my fault. I called budget and they advised me to try and settle it myself with the other driver. He was very difficult and it became clear he would not cover my damage. I called budget again for help and they told me that I could claim but I would have to pay my repairs in full and that there was no guarantee that I would get any money back. I am paying budget every month and they weren’t there for me when I needed them. And to make matters worse when I called to review my policy I told them about this experience and they said they would note it when working out my annual increase. But they still did the standard annual increase and ignored the ‘noted’ concerns. I had to reexplain everything and managed to negotiate a reasonable increase. All in all, after the accident dealing with unhelpful budget and the other driver (as budget advised) was a far worse experience than the accident itself.
