Horror at budget insurance

I regret switching to budget, they don't pay for other things when you claim. They rejected my claim because I'm staying at an RDP house and they said my structure was not approved and not up to standard with the building regulations. But when I took cover I explained to them where I'm staying and even told them other insurers refused to cover the structure because it was an RDP. They said no problem they will cover me but at claim stage it's another thing. They take very long to finish with the claim, they took about two months with my vehicle claim. For my home contents and structure claim, I'm still waiting for the claim to be finalised......its three months now I don't have a place to stay my house was burned down, they refused to rent me a place to stay. I took my matter to the ombudsmen.
