Horrible claim process experience from budget insurance

The most useless, *********** and pathetic insurance I have ever come across. I lodged an accident claim on the 12th January 2023 and till today my car has not been attended to. They are slow in dealing with my claim, never call to update you on the progress of the claim and display delay tactics when you want to use your own panel beater. They estimated their quotation based on pictures I sent to the assessor, which is a very low amount for the damage that my car has gone though. Only today they want inform an assessor to start the process of physically checking the extent of the damage to my car. In the mean time, I am suffering and do not know what to do anymore. I have been paying for almost 6 years, uninterrupted, never late and now that I need to repair my car, have been advised that the amount that will be payable to me is R4000. I don't recommend anyone to join this insurance, they do not know how to treat customers.
