When you take out Budget Third-Party, Fire and Theft, Comprehensive Vehicle, Motorcycle, 4x4, Building, or Home Contents Insurance we’ll include Budget’s Assist Benefits. This benefit is automatically included with your policy, so make sure to read up about it and keep the details on hand for when the emergency strikes. I have comprehensive car insurance through Budget Insurance. I am in need of a plumber for Home Assist and contacted Budget. After 10 minutes I was told you need a home owners insurance but they advertising the below!

The benefit covers the cost of a call-out fee and one hour’s labour for: Plumbers: This is someone who fits and repairs the pipes, fittings, and other apparatus of water supply, sanitation, or heating systems. These are the guys you call when your pipes are leaking, your drains are blocked, or you come home to a burst geyser.

This is not the case and be aware that this is a huge advertising loophole used to get customers to sign up for comprehensive car insurance with promises that do not materialize. Very unhappy car insurance customer!
