Highest Integrity. They could not accommodate my portfolio, but made EVERY effort thereafter...

I called Budget insurance to insure my vehicle (which had been modified) and initially the sales person said that they could accommodate it, and insure all of the extras.

My insurance started in January and I was very impressed by the premium, which was very low. So low in-fact, that some friends recommended that I call them to verify they are insuring for the correct value. As it turned out, when I called, that I was not covered and I immediately cancelled my policy.

Some months later, I was called by Marlon Safodien (I hope that spelling is correct) and he explained why the sales person was confused, and apologised. He asked if I had managed to ensure my vehicle in the end, and was genuinely apologetic for my having been inconvenienced. He also agreed that in principle, the premiums should be returned to me. So, he went through the effort of ensuring that the refund would be processed.

This effort, was very much appreciated and I will endeavour (should anyone have standard insurance requirements) to promote their direct insurance offering, as they clearly employ people of the utmost integrity, like Marlon.
