Frustrating policy cancellation process

Terrible service, have been refused to cancel my car insurance and have been trying for 3 weeks now. sent from pillar to post, from retention section, review of policies, sent emails and spoken with several individuals who are being rude and unhelpuful.

I thought car insurance is a short-term non-obligatory and cancellation should be easier and the person was asking me about the new company I am switching to, my premiums and my new excess, ran out of airtime twice already and did not even bother to return my call. I even pleaded with the consulted that I will rather write to Hello Peter because she is not helpful and she rudely rep**** that I must do it.
