********** deductions - return the monies ASAP!

In October 2019, upon a new car purchase. I gave budget insurance the new car details and signed my parents up for insurance with them. I cancelled the previous insurance with Unity and used my banking details for the budget insurance instead of my father's details which were used before. Life continued, I am paying for the insurance and I have 3rd party consent on the old and new policy. To my dismay, My mum picked up that there is a debit from Unity insurance that is still going on their account. She found out it is for dents and scratches which she has explicitly told Unity she doesn’t want especially since when she wanted to claim she couldn’t, when they were still with Unity insurance for house and car. I also explicitly requested all previous policies to be removed and I consented to what is currently being debited from my account.

i called in last week and found out that the dents and scratches premium is being debited on my father's account for the new car. I did not share those details with Budget, for there to be a false membership created by Unity for dents and scratches. I was told that the call that allegedly led to this add on would be assessed. but the insurance has been cancelled going forward. I need feedback and all monies taken to be reversed back to the account you took them from along with confirmation of this. This is ***** and is unacceptable, please treat it with the urgency it deserves. The money you are taking is a lot for pensioner, we shouldn't need to police you on doing your part in doing the right thing and fixing this mess.
