FAILURE TO REFUND AFTER CANCELLING A POLICY....NEVER MAKE A PROMISE IF U DONT INTEND TO HONOR IT...DISHONORABLE COMPANY WITH EMPLOYEES WHO LACK ETHICS

I have cancelled my policy with budget on 14 May 2020 and they advised that they will process a pro rata refund since the debit of the 15 May will proceed to run on the full premium. I was advised that the refund will be processed within 5 to 10 days yet 10 days have since passed without any refund or at best an advisory courtesy. TODAY I have called their call centre and hold the number until I run out of a R55 airtime. Their official who assisted me with the cancellation is either a ****, lazy or dishonorable or the company itself feeds on robbing people of their hard earned cash.

People should stay away from this dishonorable insurance company....My family and I have been loyal customers to this company for a long time to receive this treatment.

I am happy to report that Budget Insurance through their Mr Dean has been in contact with me from every minute of a business day providing progress with the aforementioned complaint I registered with hellopeter. I just want to say kudos to Mr Dean for his excellent customer service mannerism. It goes a long way and hope budget can teach all their employees the sc**** s**** that Mr Dean possesses. He knows his work and is able to explain and where the company faulted apologies for it and provide u progress even in situation where you list expect it...hope one day I will meet you Mr Dean in person to give you a hand shake but for now keep up the good work sir until we meet.
And to Budget , because of Mr Dean...I will be back soon and hope to get a better offer...so this is not a goodbye.
