Expensive Premiums without review

I called the call centre to enquire about some details regarding my mom's vehicle insurance policy.<br> <br> Her premium is currently R864.85/month for a old citi golf that is locked up in a garage 99% of the time. She hardly drives. In 5-6 years of having the policy, she has never claimed. When I enquired why the policy was so expensive, I am suddenly given a new premium of R373! Less than half the amount they have happily been taking from a little old lady every month. I was disgusted.<br> <br> When I tried to follow up with a manager, I get this long-winded justification of annual increases, costs, etc. without any consideration of this particular case.
