Evil Budget insurance scratch and dent policy

I have a scratch and dent policy with Budget insurance. This policy started in 2017 and I lost employment late last year 2020 over Covid and was not able to pay Budget their policy for about three months. I luckily found employment (early 2021) and a lady from Budget phoned me and asked if I wanted to reinstate my claim and I agreed and she said my policy would not be affected and never mentioned a waiting period as I was an existing client already. Last week my car got scratched, I tried to claim with budget and the first excuse they gave me was that they could not cover my claim as the headlight was also scratched. However we all know that the lights were not part of the cover all they have to do is to sort out the fender. They declined it and then said the other reason for declining is because the policy was new. That does not make sense at all. It is nice when they make money of us from all the years and enrich themselves but when it is time to help they show their evil. Be careful of this ****, choose a better insurance.
