Do not use Budget Insurance!

After being unhappy with my previous Insurance company due to an increase in premium I shopped around for cheaper insurance and found Budget Insurance. Their premium was a few hundred rand cheaper than my insurance at the time - a total of R2527.22 for two vehicles (A 2007 Volvo C30 T5 and a 2010 Audi S4). So I made the switch. Everything was okay for the first year but upon reaching the end of the year period after one claim which was not even my fault (Around R7000 worth of damage when someone rear ended me) they adjusted my premium to R4,926.49! To me this is so far beyond the realms of being ridiculous it is frightening. They did not even try to phone me to inform me of the adjustment.
