Complaint against Budget Insurance – Unfair Rejection of Accident Claim
I am extremely disappointed with the way Budget Insurance has handled my accident claim. I submitted a valid claim after an accident. At the time, the vehicle was driven by my nephew, who was a designated driver. Despite this, my claim was rejected, and I was not offered any percentage settlement, which I find unreasonable. I have been a loyal client of Budget Insurance for almost three years and have never missed a single premium payment. During the claims process, I was initially led to believe that my claim would be approved. I was requested to submit a settlement letter, the vehicle was assessed, and I was informed that the claim was awaiting management sign-off so that Budget Insurance could settle the outstanding amount with the bank. However, once the settlement amount was disclosed, the position changed completely. The claim was thereafter rejected by the manager, Carel Stander, despite the earlier indications that the claim was progressing positively. This inconsistency left me feeling misled and treated unfairly. I comp**** with all policy and claims requirements, yet no reasonable explanation, compromise, or partial settlement was offered, and communication thereafter was poor. I am also disappointed that this experience has affected my confidence in Budget Insurance, as I currently have another vehicle insured with them, which I am now considering removing due to this matter. I am posting this to request that Budget Insurance urgently review my claim and provide a fair resolution, even if it is a percentage-based settlement.

This discrepancy is deeply concerning. Being told one thing verbally while official correspondence reflects another raises serious questions about the accuracy and transparency of the information being communicated to clients. I have proof, these people tha im dealing with here are really misleading and its concerning hey.
