Claims declined on very silly *********** assessor bases
<p>I have a building stucture policy with Budget Insurance, my house has a staggered roof (on side higher than the other), strong wind comes and blows and breaks the budgeboard, with is very strong and made up of asbestos, falling onto the lower roof, shuttering 2 roof tiles and breaking my plank underneath.</p> <p>The assessor comes and says it was because of maintanance, how do you maintain budge board or roof beside painting it nad making sure everything is firm in place. </p> <p>Strong wind and rain are natural disasters causes, and this budge board didn't just fall, it broaken and even pictures does show.. Very high level of incomptency of this assessor - Kelvin Bezuidenhout</p>

DO NOT TRUS BUDGET HOME INSURANCE TO PAY WHEN ITS TIME TO PAY FOR A CLAIM!!
Since I have laid this complaint, Budget insurance has decided to cancel my policy.
These insurance companies like Budget are *********, its good to deduct your money but come paying time they make stories!
They did not explain to me even their staff as to what did they mean about the roof not being maintained, if the roof is clean and not leaking , is that not the sign of the roof being maintained until the budge board was broken by wind and broke the tile!
How do you maintain the garge door spring, if all the garage mechanism works but the sprinf suddenly snaps, how should you really maintaince the spring, they can't answer that too..
And they decline my claim and decide to cancel my policy.
I will be taking this issue with the Ombardsman..
