Claim Rejection Due to Ambiguous Policy Terms
My claim was rejected by biased Carel Stander ,based on unclear terms under Your obligations points 7 and 8 of the policy. Budget Insurance defines a regular driver as "the person who drives the insured vehicle most often," unlike other insurers that specify "in any given monthly period." This ambiguity allows them to reject claims if the car is shared among family members. Additionally, they do not clearly define what constitutes a change of address. For instance, if you take the car on holiday and it gets into an accident, they may use the holiday location to reject your claim. They also fail to state that you must inform them if the car is at a different location for more than 30 days. My claim was rejected due to this lack of clear information.
