Check out your policy increases carefully

I received my annual review of my House and Home contents a few weeks ago, in that review they increased my monthly premium by 30%. For the past 10 days I have been trying to speak to a senior manager as the consultant advised me she could not help me with a reduction and would ask a senior manager to contact me. Eventually I received a message back to say they WOULD NOT REDUCE this new monthly premium. In the current economic climate inflation is running at less than 5% so what justification is there to increase my premium by 30%.. Beware of all these companies which are trying to recoup their losses due to the Covid situation. Don't get caught and make sure to check all your policy updates in future
