BUYER BEWARE OF BUDGET INSURANCE'S UNRELIABILITY ON PAYING OUT CLAIMS

Budget Insurance refuses to pay my claim after my tablet, laptop and dry cleaning were ****** from my car. They are saying that they do not cover theft by "CAR JAMMING", and that insurance companies do not pay these types of claims. Budget insurance also refuses to pay for load shedding damage to my Hisense microwave and Defy side-by-side fridge, stating that they don't cover damage as a result of load shedding. My frustration is that I took out comprehensive car and household insurance (and have been paying premiums for years) so that in the event of a loss I would be covered! However, I am realising that Budget Insurance is good at advertising but not at providing services to their clients. If you are insured with Budget Insurance or on the market for insurance I recommend you look elsewhere for clear and reliable insurance. Because if you, for example, buy a new house and are moving small items like your entertainment system and small appliances in your car then decide to take your family out for lunch but unfortunately return to an empty car Budget Insurance will not follow through on the service you have been paying them for. OR Say you are lucky enough to not be targeted by ********* while treating your family to a celebratory meal, but instead after some time in your new home your appliances are damaged by unpredictable load shedding AGAIN Budget Insurance will fail to provide you with the service you have been paying them for. Their sales agents will say whatever it takes to sign you on but when it's crunch time they will not pay out.
