I wouldn't go anywhere near Budget insurance. They're ********* and you'll probably get the short end of the stick.

In August 2021 I was quoted for a car insurance policy that included certain benefits according to the Budget salesperson who was attempting to get me to move from my current insurer for a lower premium with Budget.

Thankfully, before the policy could commence I went through all the paperwork sent to me, only to discover that the insurance cover I was sold, had none of the key cover benefits that I was promised. I cancelled immediately.

To make matters worse, today I discovered that my credit score has taken a knock. Upon further investigation, I discovered that Budget insurance have added themselves as an account I have in my name and it reflects on my credit profile. I'm not in any way or form insured by them or affiliated with any of their other businesses.

This is unacceptable and ********* business practice from an insurance company masquerading as one of South Africa's leading and most affordable insurance companies. A bunch of ****** is what they are!
