Budget's failure to comply with promotional policy

I was contacted by my insurance company (Budget Insurance, ***) in March 2020 with a new policy that would cover all maintenance related issues for the next 15 years. Maintenance for example the servicing of my vehicle, all mechanical repairs including the drive train, gearbox, clutch and all electrical faults just to name a few. I inquired numerous times what would be covered and excluded in a normal service and was told the only exclusions would be the wear and tear on wipers, any fused bulbs, battery and tires. After listening to the entire sales pitch and accepting the terms and conditions to go ahead with the additional policy for R175 p/m. I inquired one last time by what date I can book my vehicle in for a service, where the sales consultant rep**** anytime after the 27th of April 2020. I also double checked if I was required to take the vehicle to the manufacturer for each service.

After the 27th of April 2020 I contacted Budget to find out what the correct procedure is to book my vehicle in for its service under my new policy. I was at this point informed that this new policy doesn't cover the servicing of my vehicle as initially confirmed several times by the telly marketer. i was eventually put through to the complaints department where I was informed that the matter would be investigated. I was also told that a copy of the initial conversation would be forwarded to me which never happened. I was also told that someone would contact me after their investigation with the findings, and if the recording confirmed my grievance that the sales consultant would be send for re-training or given a written warning. And that Budget Insurance would honor any agreement made in that sales call.

It is now past the period they said it would take for the investigation to take place. I have tried to follow up, but every time after confirming my details I get put on hold for an extended period before the call is dropped and I have to follow the same procedure all over again.

I am highly disappointed in the reaction I received from Budget and that I was probably mislead by the sales consultant when I subscribed to this policy. I therefore claim that Budget honors the initial agreement as per their policy including the servicing of my vehicle for the duration of the policy which is 15 years from date of inception. I also want to be supp**** with a telephonic transcript of the conversation between myself and the sales consultant as promised.
