Budget not for business insurance
Paid all my premiums for almost 3 years across multiple vehicles, never once claimed. My driver was hijacked I hadn’t changed the driver details - he was my first registered driver and left to go home for a while. After the hijacking, got calls from budget asking for information and from the onset, you could sense that they were trying to weasel their way out of it. I understand that the driver not being the regular driver is an issue, but he was hijacked. Raised claim on the 9th of Jan and only finalised claim on the 19th of Feb where they advised the claim was rejected. Very disappointed that I chose a partner like budget for my business

26 Feb 2024, 10:50We have made contact with you already this morning. I was told it’s the process that the driver must be declared, even though he was our driver and only dropped off because he went home for a funeral. We were also told that although our claim was declined, we are disqualified from our cash back which was due in May. Lastly, the car was hijacked on the 9th of May and we paid for the whole month of Jan, we were told we don’t even qualify for a refund for the dates between when the car was hijacked. Never experienced this ever. My hard earned living now taken away from me by a company that definitely doesn’t care.
