Budget Nightmare

I have been insured with budget for about 3 years claim free up until 01 November 2018. My husband was involved in an accident (main driver of vehicle). Damage to the car seemed minimal. Car was towed to Renewit Randburg. Mr Vaughan Naidoo was the claims assessor dealing with our claim. He was suppose to give me feedback about the claim yesterday but never got back to me. At 11:30 (yesterday) I decided to contact Budget call centre as I saw the claim has been finalised on the Budget online login website and Mr Vaughan Naidoo failed to inform me. When I phoned in only then was I made aware that my Vehicle (Toyota Conquest RSE 1999) has been written off. The damages that Budget’s assessor quoted was R62500 (ridiculous) utter *******. The retail value /insured value of the car R30k. We opted to buy the car back as we have a reputable panel beater who quoted us less than 13% of what Budget’s assessor said the damage was.... Please tell me how is that possible? I would also like to find out why Mr Vaughan Naidoo never contacted me. Is it because they wanted to send my car to the auction stands in Pomona , or let Renewit over charge me for release fees and storage so that I can walk away with nothing. Are Budget Insurance employees ******, in cahoots with panel beaters, vehicle damage assessors and autioneers?????? I have been a loyal client Budget is offering me R30k less buy back of vehicle R18900 less excess R6750 = R4350.... Do u call that service. How can I buy back my own car - not owned by any institution but owned by me. Why do I have to buy it back from Budget and if according to ur ***** assessor the damage to my car is R62500 and my car only worth R30k - deficit of -R32500 - why are u charging me R18900 to buy back that car... WHY.... u should be paying me R32500 to take that car off ur hands according to ur pathetic assessment.
